THE CHOCOLATE CHAMPIONSHIP INTERREGIONAL TROPHY: AT A.B. TECH EXPO 2010



Promoted by Barry Callebaut, in cooperation with A.B. Tech Expo, the Italian Chocolate Championship will feature chocolate and pastry makers who will demonstrate their skills and brilliance in their ability to revisit the "food of the gods".

Tuesday 26., the A.B. Tech Expo Pastry Central Workshop will introduce the 8 select contestants who will bid for:
• the most creative and artistic work made of chocolate, inspired by the same theme that presides over the national and world championships
• a sugared almond hand-made with tempered chocolate
• a crust pie made with surprise ingredients held in a Mystery Box.

The contest will take place in real time, in front of the public and the jury. The winner – selected by a jury made up of professionals and chaired by Gianfranco Rosso, the unrivalled chocolate Master – will have access to Italy's Chocolate Championship, the only contest in this country officially recognized by Paris' World Chocolate Masters.

They will award not only the artistic quality of the realized products, but also technical skills and hygiene care shown by each Master.

So it grows the role of interest AB Tech Expo in the “world of chocolate”: the Chocolate Championship Interregional Trophy will host be an important initiative for all professionals and, most of all, for young talents who want to demonstrate their skills and their artistic ability in confectionery.
